ECC - Eshowe Computer Centre Terms & Conditions
- All goods sold strictly COD only.
- All quotations will remain valid for a period of 5 working days from date of quote, unless otherwise stated. The validity of any prices is subject to any increase in the cost price of the company before release of goods.
- Any inspections will be charged at R 50.00 before repairs are done.
- A 50% deposit is required with order. Deposits are non-refundable. If order is canceled, deposit is forfeited.
- Please back up your data before sending the machines for support. ECC will not be held liable for any data loss.
- ECC will not be held responsible for any theft, which may occur while in possession of the client's hardware.
- Upgrades/Repairs not collected within 30 working days will be sold to defray costs.
- Due to software piracy NO software will be refunded or exchanged.
- No warranty on any software, no refund, no swap out, no exchange on any software including Microsoft products.
- Should your hardware fall under warranty and exchange of which causes re-installation of software, the re-installation of software will be charged at normal rates.
- Prices and specifications are subject to change without any prior notice.
- If the return of goods takes place after 48 hours from the date of invoice, a credit will be passed, provided goods are in same condition as on purchase date, including all manuals & software for the goods, original packaging and original invoice. NO cash refunds under any circumstances.
- A 15% handling fee will be issued for goods not returned in their original packaging, original invoice, software and manuals, whether within 7 days or not. NO cash refunds.
- No credit will be issued at all if return is later than 7 days after the date of purchase.
- Components or PC's ordered will be canceled after 7 days if not collected.
- Before credit is passed, items will be tested or sent to original suppliers for detailed report.
- In case of replacements where faulty goods need to be returned to original suppliers, the courier costs incurred are to be paid by the customer.
- Invoices not paid before the 25th of each month will be fined with a 10% increase every 30 days unless prior arrangements have been made, in writing, with ECC.
- New hardware has a 12-month carry-in warranty from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- The warranty will be void if the serial number or label is missing.
- The warranty will be void if items are written on or tampered with.
- ECC will replace or repair the items if a performance failure has occurred within the warranty period.
- A component will be declared void and out of warranty if goods are damaged due to mishandling, negligence, lightning strikes or power surges.
- ECC does not accept liability for loss or damage to cables, software or ink cartridges with booked-in goods.
- Any CPU (Processor) that is over-clocked will void warranty. WARNING: It can/will be tested!
- No warranty on consumables, i.e. Blank cd's, cartridges, etc.
- ECC will not take responsibility to pay out more than R 100 (one hundred rand) for any loss whatsoever.
IF YOU BREAK IT, CONSIDER IT SOLD!
ALL GOODS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF ECC UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL.
Customer Service Policy:
ECC strives to deliver the best possible service to customers. If, for whatever reason, you, as the customer, are not happy with service provided or work done please feel free to report it, within 7 days, to ECC.
